Amelytics is a research-driven consultancy that bridges physics, data science, and engineering insight. We help our clients understand their systems more deeply — whether that means identifying the key physical mechanisms behind sensor signals, improving product stability, or turning experimental data into predictive models.

Our roots are in experimental science and high-tech product development. Decades of hands-on experience in precision measurement, signal processing, and algorithm design have shaped how we approach problems: with curiosity, rigor, and a focus on practical results.

The company was founded by Terhi Lehtola, Licentiate of Science (Tech.), a physicist and data scientist with a long background in industrial R&D. Before starting Amelytics, she worked for nearly two decades in multidisciplinary teams developing next-generation sensors and analytical methods. Terhi values clarity, fairness, and collaboration — qualities that guide how Amelytics works with both partners and clients.

Amelytics operates from Espoo, Finland, close to Aalto University and the vibrant Helsinki innovation ecosystem.

The Finnish Licentiate of Science (Tech.) degree is a research qualification between a Master’s and a PhD, corresponding to the Dutch EngD.
